Making Seguin Better One Dog At A Time...
Community
We at Thunderpaws strongly believe that part of our mission is to be an asset to our community.  We actively
strive to improve the lives of those around us - both dogs & people.
Help the Seguin Police Dogs get a new friend! - Please Read!
The Seguin Police Department was recently forced to retire K-9 Officer Ferda due to health problems.  In order to replace him, the Seguin Citizens
Police Academy Alumni Association* is trying to raise $10,000.
This is where you come in!  The SCPAAA is accepting donations of all sizes to get our community this very special hard-working dog.
Every time you donate, Thunderpaws will let you put up a
‘I Donated’ card ANYWHERE you want in our shop.  You can do a good deed & let
the world know about it.  C’mon, You know you wanna…

*Fund Managed by Seguin Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. SCPAAA is a 501(c)3 Charitable organization

UPDATE: Welcome Baron!  Seguin was recently fortunate enough to be able to acquire a slightly used K9 officer from New
Braunfels!  We are still happy to accept donations to help to provide for all of Seguin's K-9 officers and to be able to help the
SPD to get the next K9 officer.
Fund Raising

Bag Refunds  - Any time that you make a purchase and do not take
a plastic bag, we will donate 5 cents to your choice of one of our
charities.  This raised literally hundreds of dollars for our local
charities in 2009.

December 4, 2009 - Holiday Stroll Pet Parade - our final fund-raiser for
2009 was a first!  In conjunction with Seguin's Main Street Program, we were
honored to host the Holiday Stroll Pet Parade. Seguin's Pet Parade had a fun

ARF -  the Animal Rescue Foundation.
A.R.F. Holiday Tree - in the month of December, you generously donated
nearly $400 to decorate our holiday tree!  All Proceeds benefited ARF.
Additionally, whenever a client requested a holiday spa upgrade, a dollar

Your S.H.S. Yearbook can help a person & some dogs... - Please Read!
On Friday, May 22, 2009, the home of Larry Nelson & his father, Lester, was badly damaged by fire.  Larry, Seguin High School class of 1979, was
a collector of S.H.S. yearbooks.  To help replace his cherished yearbook collection, Larry's friends have generously offered a bounty on S.H.S.
yearbooks - for each new year brought to Thunderpaws, they will donate $10 to Paws in Prison!  This is a huge opportunity to do something for a
good man & for some needy dogs!
To donate, please call us at (830) 379-7000
